Building Acquired
PL acquired the Angel Street site in March 2016.
Planning Consent
Designed by Stockport-based architects Cartwright & Gross, North Central gained planning permission from Manchester City Council in August 2016.
Started on site
PL instructed Cruden to realise its vision for North Central. The construction team started on site in January 2017.
Completed
The first residents took ownership of their apartments and Co-op opened its latest convenience store on the ground floor in the summer of 2019.
The £15m property, which lies within the increasingly popular NOMA district, boasts 40 two-bed and 24 one-bed apartments as well as a 3,500 sq ft ground floor retail unit which has been let to Co-op for a convenience store.
“Our mission is to make strategic land acquisitions that give us the opportunity to regenerate areas through the creation of high quality, sustainable and vibrant communities. The Angel Street site was previously a disused wines and spirits distribution warehouse and we are proud to have played a part in the development of the wider NOMA District.”
